Before installation, please make sure that the jdk and the javadoc tool is in your path and can be found by dbdoclet. Otherwise any transformation will fail!
To install dbdoclet via the rpm package, use the following
command: rpm -Uhv dbdoclet-<VERSION>.rpm.
dbdoclet will be installed into the directories
/usr/share/dbdoclet, /usr/bin
and /usr/man.
In order to install dbdoclet, you should unpack the tar archive it
to a location of your choice (e.g /usr).
Alternatively you can use the RPM package on Linux and the setup file on
Windows.
dbdoclet will unpack into the three subdirectories
bin, man and
share.
